Arkansas House Passes Resolution Supporting Completion of I-49



On February 2, 2017, Arkansas State Representative John Maddox and other members of the house passed a resolution that will be carried to federal legislators and other government officials to demonstrate the support for completion of I-49 through western Arkansas.

 

I-49 International Coalition members deeply appreciate this effort and promise to use it to the full extent of our ability to create positive momentum for this project.

NWA planners to apply for federal grant to complete I-49 AR/MO gap

The NWA Regional Planning Commission intends to apply for $32.4 million from the $1.5 billion Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) program to finish I-49 at the Arkansas-Missouri border.
